Make iso file from cdrom drive
# dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/tmp/target.iso

Make iso file from directory
# mkisofs -o /tmp/target.iso /source_direcectory/

Say No if you don't want it runs at boot. then get the harddisk temperature with ...

$ sudo hddtemp /dev/sda
